the Artist


Bryn Wieking

I am a California based artist and designer with my BFA in Graphic Design from Chapman University. During my time at Chapman, I took on two emphases: Cross Cultural Studies and Art History. I use my knowledge in all three subjects, along with my creative intuition, to build a visual story and make meaningful connections. Because of my background in cultural studies, I am committed to cultivating work that is inclusive to all. I utilize my strengths as an unconventional thinker and my skills as an experienced illustrator to create design that is beautifully unexpected.

My approach to design focuses on eccentric themes reminiscent of childhood memories and historic styles to evoke an emotional response for a viewer.

Who is Bryn and why is there a Brun?

Bryn is my designer name and the name I was born with.
All graphic design work that I do exists under Bryn.
Brun in my artist name. 
That includes sculpture, illustration, block print, serigraphy, and more.
Brun follows a looser structure and more experimental themes.

And the name Brunburger you ask?
I thought it was obvious… two B(r)y/uns=Burger
