CORE’s welcome guide helps German immigrants through their transition to the United States. CORE knows how difficult resettlement can be and wants to create an accessible resource that can be accessed on the go. The key characteristics of the design approach to the guide are user orientedness, practicality, and freshness; this is achieved through intentional design. To ensure user comfort and motivation, each page has a uniquely rendered ethereal background that complements the written content.
