VHS Case Design ft. Riggins

The Hateful Eight, 2015, by Quentin Tarantino is a bold film that puts a modern twist on a classic western tale. Major Marquis Warren, played by Samuel L. Jackson, is featured on the cover of this hypothetical VHS cover. Riggins is used throughout my work as a mascot and can take on many forms, styles, and colors. They are a genderless being that appears in witty settings as well as many of my paintings. Here they are dressed like Major Marquis Warren and drawn in his iconic stance. Red, yellow and dark grey set the stage for a dramatic performance as smoke rises from a gun and creates a bed for the film title.
