This Jet Magazine cover redesign, by designer Bryn Wieking, utilizes contemporary and personal illustration styles as a tribute to Angela Davis and her legacy. The illustration of Davis highlights her features through soft brush strokes and sparkle in a surrealist and dimensional approach. Behind her is the iconic Black Lives Matter fist as a symbol of resistance to police brutality.
